Sandy Ward  > Events > Walk for Climate Rescue
March 16, 2007, was the kick-off day for the Walk for Climate Rescue organized by Religious Witness for the Earth. It was also the day of a major northeast storm. We walked through the storm. I was so inspired by Friday's walk that I returned on Sunday for the Belchertown-to-Ware walk.

I enjoyed the leisurely pace of this walk, the good company and conversations, and the sense of common purpose. Walking this way was really a joy. The cold and snow did not matter.
