January 13, 2012. Interior of the old library to be renovated.
January 13, 2012. Asbestos abatement on the 2nd floor (old Technical Services room). In December there had been a large asbestos abatement project in the basement as the old furnace was dismantled.
Fundraising continues as construction begins.
Note the new position of the fencing. February 14, 2012.

Some trees along the curbside have been removed. February 14, 2012. Chestnut Street will be modified to accommodate some diagonal parking, increasing the parking capacity.
