Library Campaign Steering Committee meeting, January 5, 2012, at Wistariahurst.

In January 2012 there was still much work to be done to prepare the City Hall Auditorium for Library use.

The Library staff had much work to do in January in the unheated Auditorium.

The official re-opening of the Library was delayed more than once, from Jan 3, to Jan 9 (too cold), to Jan 23 (soft opening) and Jan 30 (Official Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony).

The HPLC Board of Directors met January 10, 2012, in the not-yet-heated Auditorium.

Meanwhile, back at the original Library, the Renovation Committee (a.k.a. the Building Committee) met with the contractors... See the Construction Site album for photos of the ensuing work.

A special musical fundraiser was organized by Tom Schwab, a member of both the Pioneer Valley Cappella and the HPLC Board of Directors.
