In July 2005, I visited the PlaneTree Health Library, formerly of San Jose, now located in Los Gatos, CA. Same wonderful slogan: "Walk in with questions; walk out with confidence." I visited again in November 2006. PlaneTree website.

On the 5th floor of the Good Samaritan Hospital is a new facility designed by Candace Ford: PlaneTree Patient and Family Library. This library, adjacent to the Oncology ward, is a place for respite and research. Volunteer Joan helps maintain the collection in good order.
