Note width of the forsythia hedge (space that could be reclaimed?) and the shaded nook between hedge and house (possible location of ramp down into basement? ) We are seeking an improved parking/recharging place for the electric scooters.

Sandy Ward > July 9, 2007 Inspired by reading Barbara Kingsolver's new book (Animal, Vegetable, Miracle) and attending a local farm festival, I started a little vegetable garden.

Sandy Ward > Digging deep to prepare for carrots and beets. I filled the hole with compost. I've maintained a compost pile for years and years. It feels good to use it!
