At the Harstine Reunion August 2, 2009, Len shared many memories of his brother Emmet, who died May 24, 2009. We had no clue that Len would die a few weeks later.

The three surviving Harstine siblings: Marjorie, John, and Laird. Their brothers Emmet and Leonard died this summer; older brothers Carl and Forest had died years earlier.

Northwest Christian Church, 1340 Fishinger Rd, Columbus, OH. Uncle Len was a charter member (1957), and served as Deacon, Elder, Financial Secretary, and Chairman of the Worship Committee.
John, Ruthie, and John's grandson (son of Stanley) came from Kansas in this van. Marj showed them a photo of an earlier family reunion.
